Fresh-exotic composition

Refined with passion fruit, the soothing pastilles taste seductively delicious. Enjoy Grether's Redcurrant if you have a strained voice and an unpleasant feeling in the throat and pharynx. The wonderfully fruity flavour is as invigorating as a little time out.

Redcurrants have the same positive properties as blackcurrants:

  • With their high vitamin C content, the colourful fruits strengthen the body's defences, especially against colds.
  • They have an anti-inflammatory effect
  • They soothe a sore throat
  • They provide relief from hoarseness and vocal cord irritation

The origin of the redcurrant

The redcurrant is a close relative of the blackcurrant and a popular garden plant. It occurs almost all over Europe, but is rarely found in the wild on damp forest soils. Its translucent red fruits have a tart, refreshing flavour and are eaten raw, used in desserts and cakes, and made into juice, jelly and jam.

Only fruit that has been harvested is used to extract the natural redcurrant juice needed to make Grether's Redcurrant. The selected quality of the berries ensures an incomparably delicious and long-lasting taste.
